🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July and a blessed Independence Day to the United States! Today we celebrate the freedom of a great nation with which I share a deep bond: I am an American citizen, lived there for nearly 18 years, and my children reside there. On this day, I especially honor my eldest daughter, a U.S. Army veteran, and celebrate in Jesus' name that my generation continues to grow there as I am about to become a grandmother to a grandson who will be born in that land.
From Costa Rica, it is also the perfect day to reflect on the greatest emancipation of all: our personal and spiritual liberty walking with God. I invite you to read this message that I prepared with love from my heart as an American citizen living in Costa Rica. May God bless your life and guide your steps today! 🕊️✨

Today we celebrate Independence Day in the United States, a date that resonates deeply in my heart as an American citizen currently living in Costa Rica. Seeing this day on the calendar inevitably makes me reflect on what true freedom means. Beyond the sovereignty of a great nation, today I want to speak to you about a much more intimate and urgent emancipation: the personal independence of the soul, rooted in walking according to God's will. God brings us to this encounter today to understand that everything in our history comes together with an eternal purpose.

Do not waste yourself trying to fit into a world that drains you; independent yourself from the expectations of others, value who you are, and focus your life entirely on God so you can shine with the unique light He designed for you.

🕊️ Long Message
God calls us to independence from the time we are very small, for it is the only way we can fully realize our potential and allow His Kingdom to come alive within us. Unfortunately, we spend a large part of our lives trying to fit into groups, desperately seeking the acceptance of others, and in that process, many people lose valuable years of their lives. What is truly important is not being approved by our surroundings, but accepting ourselves and accepting the living God who desires to reign inside us. The Bible clearly teaches us that a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. To establish the kingdom in your life, your heart must be unified and held by the hand of the Heavenly Father. If you spend your life striving to please others, you will end up extinguishing your own essence. Remember that when it is time to leave this world, you will stand in absolute solitude before the Creator; you will not take anyone with you, only Christ. Therefore, this holy independence will make you a secure person forever, free from the fear of loneliness, enabling you to be an independent light with God in this life and leaving your firm and well-marked footprints. Do not waste your time or yourself trying to belong to a system full of cliques and corruption, where fitting in sometimes requires you to act just like the corrupt. The only way to walk unharmed through this world is by maintaining your spiritual autonomy by the Lord's hand.
This message is the perfect finishing touch for today. I lived in the United States for almost 18 years, a country of which I am proud to be a citizen. I give infinite thanks to God for everything I learned and experienced in that nation, because much of who I am today is due to that wonderful experience. The educational system and the American culture taught me to "be" and to "do," boosting the enormous creativity that God placed in me since childhood and helping me to value all people equally, without the need to belong to social cliques or form circles of favoritism. I learned to fight for myself independently. Therefore, today is not only another anniversary of the American Union, but also a celebration of the path of independence that Cira Arroyo Fuentes walks alongside God. When you focus on your dreams, your work, and your desires, you prosper in such a way that your life becomes a read letter before others and the mirror in which others will look at themselves. If you speak to a person and they respond to you, cultivate that relationship; but if they do not add value or contribute to you, ignore them with dignity, value yourself, and move forward. If the stones do not listen to you, go your way, take others off the pedestal, and dedicate yourself to shining. Let us seek first the treasure of His Kingdom and His righteousness, as Matthew 6:33 instructs us, confident that true wealth is spiritual, and everything else will be added unto us.
Conclution:
Celebrate your identity, put your gifts to work without fear of what others might say, and trust that as you focus on your dreams and your work, you will be transformed into a living, blessed testimony in the eyes of others, becoming the television where the world will see the glory of God.
